JOB DESCRIPTION

TMZ is looking for a Manager, Integrated Marketing & Partnerships to run the day-to-day workflow with TMZ Sales teams, aiding in both pre-sale and post-sale processes. The Manager will represent TMZ by overseeing creative ideation, packaging, and execution for advertiser campaigns. Campaigns will consist of both TMZ custom offerings and media products across a variety of platforms, including on-air, digital, social, streaming, out-of-home, and other potential distribution outlets.

Key responsibilities will include coming up with creative ideas for advertisers that feel endemic to TMZ, articulating those ideas in engaging write-ups, and producing them for TMZ platforms.

The ideal candidate must be proactive, detail-oriented, organized, resourceful and possess a strong ability to prioritize under pressure. We are looking for someone capable of diplomacy with partners, who can also pivot to be casual, quick, and concise in communications with production. The position supports all TMZ business verticals including websites and TV shows and reports to the Executive Director, Brand Development & Partnerships.

Responsibilities:
• Manage the day-to-day relationship with all TMZ Sales Teams.
• Support the TMZ Sales Departments by coming up with creative ideas across TMZ platforms in response to advertiser RFPs or at the request of sales personnel.
• Convey creative ideas in write-ups that will be included in proposals to excite advertisers and pique their interest in partnering with TMZ.
• Work directly with TMZ Executive Producers and other relevant stakeholders to ensure all creative ideas are cleared prior to sale, all key details are approved prior to production, and all final content is confirmed.
• Determine, develop, and deliver all digital, on-air, social and other assets that will be required by TMZ departments to successfully run each assigned campaign on TMZ owned and operated platforms.
• Create project timelines to ensure all elements of marketing campaigns are delivered timely to internal and external partners.
• Lead communication with key production departments at TMZ as it relates to ad sales campaigns by sharing campaign details, providing relevant materials, overseeing asset delivery, responding to questions, and resolving discrepancies.
• Analyze campaign performance and identify opportunities for optimization .
• Ensure timely, flawless launch of campaign activation tactics, troubleshoot as required, and collect all reporting.
• Effectively communicate status of campaigns, technical issues, launch delays, delivery issues, and any other challenges to key TMZ stakeholders.
• Act as a liaison with the show's Executive Producers, talent, social, publicists, etc.

Requirements:
• Bachelor's Degree.
• 5-7 years of experience required at media agency, publisher, or studio/network (preferably in integrated marketing or sales)
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (e.g. Word, Excel, PowerPoint), Google Suite (e.g. Sheets, Docs) of professional products, and social media platforms (e.g. Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, YouTube & Snapchat)
• Strong communication, interpersonal and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work in a cross-functional, fast-paced, breaking news environment.
• Detail-oriented, organized, responsive, deadline-driven and resourceful.
• Self-sufficient, but also knows when to escalate questions and/or concerns before moving forward.
• Demonstrates solid judgment, critical thinking and decision-making skills.
• Creative with a positive attitude and a high level of professionalism.

Pursuant to state and local pay disclosure requirements, the pay range for this role, with final offer amount dependent on education, skills, experience, and location is: $83,200.00-95,420.00 annually for California. This role is also eligible for various benefits, including medical/dental/vision, insurance, a 401(k) plan, paid time off, and other benefits in accordance with applicable plan documents. Benefits for Union represented employees will be in accordance with the applicable collective bargaining agreement.
