Job Description
Eyeline is a global team of risk takers, innovators and perfectionists who achieve creative visions and have fun doing it. A dynamic workforce nestled within the industry's most intriguing cities, united by a drive to push the boundaries of storytelling. Learn more.

Eyeline Innovation explores emerging tools, models, research outcomes, and broader business needs beyond day-to-day production. Our goal is to set the industry standard for how generative technology becomes practical, trusted, and scalable production workflows that empower artists and support world-class visual effects.

This is an experimental and fast-moving space. The team works at the intersection of applied innovation, research, creative problem-solving, and production technology. It is composed of senior technical talent working alongside creative pioneers, researchers, engineers, and production to identify real workflow challenges and turn promising ideas into usable solutions.

As the Project Manager, you will help turn emerging technology exploration into practical production impact. You will bring structure, clarity, and momentum to a highly experimental space, working closely with Research, Creative, Pipeline, Production, and Netflix partners to connect promising ideas with real production needs and long-term strategic capability development.

Success in this role requires curiosity, optimism, structure, and resilience. You should be comfortable operating in ambiguity, navigating research conversations with ease, and helping teams make clear, evidence-based decisions in a space where technology, requirements, and creative opportunity are constantly evolving.

RESPONSIBILITIES
• Plan, track, and lead the delivery of Innovation initiatives from initial intake and problem definition through workflow design, prototyping, feedback cycle and validation, and final handoff.
• Establish and manage dedicated RACI structures across cross-functional stakeholders to ensure clear ownership, accountability, and role clarity.
• Support short-cycle experimentation through an ''Explore, Iterate, Apply'' model, balancing rapid learning with disciplined execution and measurable production impact.
• Facilitate alignment on early reviews with Individual Contributors and stakeholders to systematically evaluate production bottlenecks; help prioritize immediate workflow optimizations while strategically routing true capability gaps toward new tooling, platform evaluations, or collaborative deep research tracks that foster novel and foundational advancements.
• Ensure all delivered packages align with the agreed-upon framework, standards, and guidelines by coordinating inputs across teams, confirming required documentation is complete, and facilitating overall consistency across the final delivery.
• Surface risks, trade-offs, resource constraints, and decision points early so leadership and stakeholders can make clear, timely, and evidence-based decisions.
• Measure and report delivery progress, adoption, workflow performance, operational impact, risks, and blockers to support planning and prioritization.
• Partner with Learning & Development to oversee the creation of high-level documentation and training, supporting a clean transition to embedded Production teams for long-term maintenance.
• Champion engagement principles, maintaining healthy operational buffers so the team can solve complex problems deeply without getting absorbed by day-to-day production crises.
• Provide project management guidance to non-Project Management-led initiatives, offering best practices, frameworks, and tools to help teams structure and manage their projects effectively, even when a dedicated Project Manager is not assigned.

REQUIREMENTS
• Minimum 5 years of experience in VFX, feature animation, games, virtual production, applied production technology, or technology organizations developing emerging solutions for digital content creation.
• At least 3 years of project or program management experience supporting cross-disciplinary, experimental, applied innovation, research, or rapid-prototyping initiatives.
• Proven experience helping move technical prototypes, MVPs, research outcomes, or emerging tools into supported, scalable production environments.
• Strong understanding of project management methodologies, including Agile, iterative, waterfall, or hybrid frameworks. PMP, Certified Scrum Master, or equivalent practical experience is a plus.
• Having a strong familiarity with Generative AI, Machine Learning, emerging creative tools, generative video, digital content creation workflows, or enterprise creative technology environments will be considered an asset.
• Experience working alongside senior technical talent and able to navigate research-driven conversations while keeping focus on practical production outcomes.
• Comfortable operating in ambiguity and bringing structure, clarity, documentation, and actionable plans to spaces where direction is still forming.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with sound judgment on when to simplify complex technical topics and when to escalate risks or trade-offs.
• Strong facilitation and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to build trust, encourage experimentation, and keep teams aligned on measurable outcomes.
• Organized and detail-oriented, with the ability to manage multiple short-cycle initiatives and track progress across concurrent prototypes or capability streams.
• Experience applying agentic AI to project management workflows is considered a strong asset.
• Optimistic, collaborative, and solution-oriented, with the resilience to treat setbacks, failed experiments, and rapid pivots as a natural and valuable part of innovation.
