We are looking for a Technical Artist to join the DICE Single Player team, working on the upcoming campaign for the next Battlefield game. As a Technical Artist you will support the Technical Art Director in implementing the Technical Art Direction and helping the wider art team with technical solutions in the engine, through workflows and tools. You will report to the Lead Artist in your team.

Responsibilities
• Flag and communicate concerns regarding a potential mismatch between artistic goals and practical reality.
• Provide technical feedback to the artists.
• Ensure production setup keeps up with industry developments.
• Research and develop workflows & best practices.
• Identify problems and find solutions.
• Review content and the game to ensure consistency, quality and compliance with performance goals.

Qualifications:
• 3+ years experience working as a Technical Artist with a broad group of developers in a collaborative way.
• Understand content creation, 3D engines and shading.
• Understand content optimization and educating artists on best practices.
• Have some understanding of tool building, proceduralism and scripting.
