Senior UX Designer – Design Home
Design Home is the leading interior design and décor game on mobile. In your role as a Senior UX Designer, you will report to the Art Director and work with a team of enthusiastic developers who are passionate about interior design. You will use your energy and knowledge to develop amazing experiences for our highly engaged players and inspire new players.
You should excel in a collaborative and iterative environment and help lead these processes and methods forward. You will work with your Engineering, Game Design, UXR, and Production partners to create experiences that surprise, delight, and invite millions of gamers around the world to create beautiful spaces.

Responsibilities
• Partner with Art Director, Content and Product Management, and UXR to design engaging and immersive player experiences from concept to completion.
• Work with other designers and engineers to understand and determine UX goals for new and evolving gameplay features.
• Independently design solutions: concepts, wireframes, and prototypes while iterating based on research, team feedback, and user feedback.
• Create process flows, wireframes, and visual design mockups to conceptualize and communicate detailed interaction behaviors for mobile platforms.
• Create UX flows that align with the Design Home brand's style.
• Document and promote awareness of UX standards and push to improve UX design workflow processes.
Qualifications
• 5+ years of experience in UX design
• Shipped at least 1 game or large-scale non-game project, in a UX design role
• A portfolio demonstrating user-centered designs on mobile platforms.
• A portfolio that shows a solid grasp of graphic design, use of color, and typography.
• Proficient in user experience design tools such as Figma, Adobe Creative Suite, Adobe XD, Axure, or Omnigraffle.
• Knowledge of usability principles and designing for accessibility, diversity, and inclusivity.
• You can clearly articulate yourself with excellent written and verbal communication to a broad range of audiences.
• Enjoy creative problem-solving, and value respectful feedback processes
• Understand the importance of documentation and teaching others.
• You are passionate about interior design and decor trends.

Valuable Additional Skills
• A basic understanding of Maya and Unity is a plus.
• Degree in Interaction Design, Psychology, Human Factors, Industrial Engineering or related HCI discipline
