The Tools and Technology Team within Creative Technologies is looking for accomplished people to help us fulfill our mission of providing creative tools and workflows that allow EA to lead the industry in content quality. Our group strives to build an ecosystem of modular components that are efficient, adjustable to trends, and allow for quick iteration of any artistic idea into reality. We partner with a global group of extraordinary creatives, fueled by imagination and a unified passion for creating amazing content and experiences.

Summary

Reporting to the Head of Tools and Technology, you will deliver generative AI tools to artists across EA.

Responsibilities
• Develop a scalable architecture to support generative AI tooling
• Coordinate development across multiple departments within EA
• Set technical and quality standards for your team
• Evaluate internal and external solutions
• Develop and maintain a culture of collaboration and on time delivery

Qualifications
• Experience:
• At least 10 years of experience delivering progressively more complex software
• Lead medium sized (20-30+) person teams.
• Experience collaborating with product managers, artists, experience designers, and other engineers.
• Leadership skills:
• Ability to mentor and develop team members..
• Ability to set clear objectives, and monitor execution towards it.
• Ability to foster a collaborative and innovative work environment.
• Technical skills:
• Software Engineering best practices and building software that operates at scale.
• Knowledge of Cloud technologies and platforms.
• DevOps or MLOps practices and tools.
• Machine Learning and AI.

BC COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS

The base salary ranges listed below are for the defined geographic market pay zones in these locations. If you reside outside of these locations, a recruiter will advise on the base salary range and benefits for your specific location.

EA has listed the base salary ranges it in good faith expects to pay applicants for this role in the locations listed, as of the time of this posting. Salary offered will be determined based on numerous relevant business and candidate factors including, for example, education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, geographic location, and business or organizational needs.

BASE SALARY RANGES
• British Columbia (depending on location e.g. Vancouver vs. Victoria):
º $160,200 - $229,100 CAN Annually

Base salary is just one part of the overall compensation at EA. We also offer a package of benefits including vacation (3 weeks per year to start), 10 days per year of sick time, paid top-up to EI/QPIP benefits up to 100% of base salary when you welcome a new child (12 weeks for maternity, and 4 weeks for parental/adoption leave), extended health/dental/vision coverage, life insurance, disability insurance, retirement plan to regular full-time employees. Certain roles may also be eligible for bonus and equity.
