Live Service Visual Designer - UFC, 6 Month Contract

The EA Sports UFC Design team is looking for a Visual Experience Designer who is passionate about creating engaging graphic campaign content, solving complex problems, and building content/experiences to delight our players. You will report to the UFC Live Service Design Lead.

Your Responsibilities
• Work side by side with the live service product team to create graphic content (2D and 3D Assets) for product content campaigns
• You will support the product team in generating fighter/vanity assets, fight week backgrounds and video promotions
• You understand how the EA audience works with its games/services, and make use of this knowledge in the development of art content
• You will provide clear, detailed, and pixel perfect final design
Work with Art Director, UI/UX team, Producers, and Software Engineering teams

Your Qualifications
• 2+ Years of experience in Graphic Design or Visual Design
• You have experience working with multiple stylistic approaches
• You have good comprehension and use of illustration, iconography, typography, color, and layout for digital media
• You are comfortable to present cohesive design approaches and iterate based on feedback
• You are comfortable with learning to use proprietary game dev tools
• You have experience in Photoshop, Illustrator, and other visual design tools. 3D (Blender/Keyshot) experience is a bonus
• A passion for games, design, and sport

BC COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS

The base salary ranges listed below are for the defined geographic market pay zones in these locations. If you reside outside of these locations, a recruiter will advise on the base salary range and benefits for your specific location.

Salary offered will be determined based on numerous relevant business and candidate factors including, for example, education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, geographic location, and business or organizational needs.

HOURLY PAY RANGES
• British Columbia (depending on location e.g. Vancouver vs. Victoria):

º $54,900 - $84,750 CAN Annually

Base salary is just one part of the overall compensation at EA. We also offer a package of benefits including vacation (3 weeks per year to start), 10 days per year of sick time, and after 3 months of service - extended health/dental/vision coverage and basic life insurance.
