Live Operations Producer - FIFA (1 year contract)

The role:

Live Operations Producers are the all-seeing eyes for our games, making sure our teams make informed decisions while supporting the players. They know their game, inside and out. They are just as comfortable working with our development teams as they are engaging directly with our player community. They facilitate a positive two-way conversation and relationship between the development team and the player community. They have an intense passion for games, and an understanding of what it means to think Players First.

Responsibilities:

As a Live Operations Producer on FIFA, you will use your understanding and passion for the game, and your in-depth knowledge of live services and esports, to help maintain the best possible experience for our players while always thinking Player First. You will report to an Associate Producer.

Specifically, you will:
• Work with our player community to identify problems and partner with our development teams on implementing solutions.
• Craft and release communications to our players to keep them aware and informed of changes to the game, maintenance and how the game works.
• Be a driving force in building awareness within the development teams of what is happening in the game, and how our players are experiencing it.
• Identify opportunities to grow our live operations services and tools, and work in collaboration with multiple partner groups to action upon those opportunities.
• Partner with our customer support (EA Help) teams to ensure that they can support our players.
• Support on-call work outside of standard working hours on a rotating schedule.
• Travel to other EA Studios to support Live EA Events.

Qualifications:
• 2+ years equivalent work experience, ideally working in a production/design team within the video game industry or on a product that runs a live service.
• An intense passion for games and football, supported by FIFA product knowledge that spans the entire game.
• Empathy for the players and a desire to provide them the best experience possible.
• Work quickly, are responsive to the needs of the players, and have a high capacity to complete projects.
• Use your instinct as a player and data to solve player issues, determine the most important things to work on first, and make recommendations for solutions.
• Have experience writing for the public.
• Comfortable engaging directly with the FIFA player community, both digitally and in person.
• You embrace a challenge, and when the job gets tough, you stay grounded.
