As part of the EA Sports family and with countless globally recognised brands in every scene, our games require official licenses and approvals from third parties such as car manufacturers, racing circuits and well-known international brands, handled by our Licensing Team based at our Headquarters in the Warwickshire countryside. Reporting to the Licensing Director, we are looking for someone to assist our tight-knit, professional team reach their goals.
Responsibilities
• To fulfil any Licensing tasks by the Licensing Department such as research and secure permissions/negotiate contracts (for in-game assets) and collaborate with the external legal team
• To maintain Licensing database, recording new licenses and extension agreements as and when performed
• To process Licensing agreement for internal and external approval and to maintain Contract Status Report
• Maintain royalty, invoice, complimentary game database
• Maintain Contract Expiry Report
• Coordinate Licensing data transfer and approvals, and ensuring accuracy is maintained
• Help maintain a central database of Licensing and Research contacts
• Keep licensing columns of project Content Trackers up-to-date
• Communication with all partners
• Maintain first class working relationships with external parties that supply data and any company partners
• Regular reporting
• Technical Research & Data Acquisition
• Respond to requests for technical and statistical research information from the Licensing Team. Ensuring in all cases that this information is delivered within any agreed timescales
• Proactively gather and store the information in a logical and accessible manner ensuring that the information is constantly maintained and kept up-to-date
• Compile and complete any appropriate reports as needed by each project
• Keep research columns of project Content Trackers up-to-date
• Obtain quotations and coordinate freelance work and items to fulfil research requirements
If you have great communication and organisational skills, have a keen eye for detail, experience in research and would love to collaborate with people worldwide, then you would be an ideal candidate for the role. A linguist or second language would also be beneficial.
