Most companies call it HR. At Electronic Arts, we are People Experience (PE). PE is a team of cultural stewards who carefully create talent strategies and offerings that directly affect our teams' experience and help our people achieve the most meaningful work of their careers.

The Global Talent team focuses on people development, organization effectiveness and an engaging employee experience. We are an interdisciplinary team helping EA not only be the industry leader but also a pioneer in new forms of digital entertainment. We are uniquely positioned to make lasting changes in a creative environment. While we move fast, we also believe in having fun - we love games!

Global Talent's vision: To accelerate people and organizational capability so EA can inspire the world to play.

As a Learning and Development Instructional Designer in Talent Development, you will develop structurally sound learning material and experiences to improve ''soft skills'' and technical capabilities for EA professionals across the globe. You will work with leaders, peers, PE partners, and subject matter experts to create customized experiences that resonate with teams, use a variety of modalities, and accommodate different learning styles and preferences.

Your daily activities will involve building new learning opportunities for individual contributor professionals and roles supporting critical technical priorities. This work includes assessments, content design, content delivery, customization of content for BU-specific needs, measuring the impact of programs, and building relationships with partners across the company. You will not have direct reports or supervisory responsibilities and will report to the Director of Talent Development.

Reasons you will love this position:
• You will work for an organization that loves to play games and is a leader in the digital entertainment space.
• You will have lots of autonomy to accomplish the role based on your experience and individuality, as you work in a group that values diversity of thought.
• You will target new areas of capability development, and influence our approach and programming in this space.
• Global Talent is well-respected and known for its positive impact on the business and our culture.

Responsibilities
• Conduct assessments to identify performance needs, capability gaps, and other learning opportunities
• Partner with Talent Development professionals and Subject Matter Experts to identify training needs and develop multiple types of learning programs (eLearning, classroom)
• Build partnerships to ensure the customization of content meets organization and department needs and goals
• Identify metrics and design evaluation techniques to measure the effectiveness of learning content and programs
• Support developing and measuring the implementation of learning solutions
• Use EA's learning management system and intranet to organize and track learning resources
• Keep pace with learning trends and their impact on our ability to deliver learning experiences

Qualifications
• General knowledge of adult learning and instructional design principles
• 5+ years of professional experience creating learning material and experiences across modalities
• Experience with eLearning authoring software (e.g. Storyline, Rise)
• Basic project and risk management skills
• Experience partnering with stakeholders to build learning solutions
• Comfortable interacting and facilitating groups of all sizes
• Experience working in technical environments or developing technical learning
• Authentic; doesn't take oneself too seriously.
