Full-Stack Software Engineer - Platform Technology

For this role, you will report to a Senior Engineering Manager and get exposed to many technologies. You'll work as part of a team, engaged with different EADP service teams and game teams around the globe to provide outstanding innovation and performance for our upcoming top games.

Responsibilities:
• You will develop responsive, resilient, and dynamic full stack services in Golang and Clojure to support millions of players.
• You will demonstrate excellent technical problem-solving skills under iteratively changing requirements during development.
• You will author and review technical design documents and API specifications detailing software requirements.
• You will collaborate with different EADP service teams and game teams to identify solutions and workflow improvements.
• You will optimize for usability while transforming and distributing huge amounts of data.
• You will maintain a suite of automated tests that validate the correctness of full stack services.

Qualifications:
• Bachelor/Master's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or related field.
• 3+ years of job experience in a hands-on coding role.
• Experience with various programming languages, both imperative and functional.
• Experience building functional applications using data-oriented programming methodologies.
• Experience owning large systems and features from design to deployment.
• Experience working in an Agile and iterative environment.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

BASE SALARY RANGES
• British Columbia (depending on location e.g. Vancouver vs. Victoria):
º $77,600 - $130,500 CAN Annually

Base salary is just one part of the overall compensation at EA. We also offer a package of benefits including vacation (3 weeks per year to start), 10 days per year of sick time, paid top-up to EI/QPIP benefits up to 100% of base salary when you welcome a new child (12 weeks for maternity, and 4 weeks for parental/adoption leave), extended health/dental/vision coverage, life insurance, disability insurance, retirement plan to regular full-time employees. Certain roles may also be eligible for bonus and equity.
