Experience Web Designer

In this remote role based in Canada you will report to the Design Manager for Player Experience where you'll envision digital and live experiences for players, game creation, recruitment, publishing, and employees.

As an Experience Designer, you'll rely on user-centered design methods to create industry-leading user experiences-from concept to execution. Daily, you'll engineer solutions to improve experiences for users and build point of contacts of the interactions needed in a portfolio of related products.

Note that this is not a game studio design role **

Responsibilities
• Collaborate with product, engineers, and partners to understand requirements, and provide creative, thoughtful solutions and build concise user-centric visions and journeys.
• Communicate experiences at different stages of the design process by developing wireframes, flow diagrams, storyboards, mockups, and high fidelity prototypes.
• Apply a data-driven approach to provide definition for a system, integrating user feedback and requirements into ongoing product experience updates.
• Identify future opportunities, working as a partner to your counterparts in product development.

Requirements
• Experience shipping extraordinary design, and an understanding of what details matter at each stage of the release cycle.
• Experience developing and customizing design systems.
• Working knowledge of HTML, CSS and JavaScript.
• Experience with design and prototyping tools like Figma and Sketch.
• B2B/B2C portfolio (3+ years), spanning both web and mobile, that reflect design excellence.

BC COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS

The base salary ranges listed below are for the defined geographic market pay zones in these locations. If you reside outside of these locations, a recruiter will advise on the base salary range and benefits for your specific location.

Salary offered will be determined based on numerous relevant business and candidate factors including, for example, education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, geographic location, and business or organizational needs.

BASE SALARY RANGES
• British Columbia (depending on location e.g. Vancouver vs. Victoria):

º $96,400 - $133,900 CAN Annually

Base salary is just one part of the overall compensation at EA. We also offer a package of benefits including vacation (3 weeks per year to start), 10 days per year of sick time, paid top-up to EI/QPIP benefits up to 100% of base salary when you welcome a new child (12 weeks for maternity, and 4 weeks for parental/adoption leave), extended health/dental/vision coverage, life insurance, disability insurance, retirement plan to regular full-time employees. Certain roles may also be eligible for bonus and equity.
