Our diverse global team of experienced experts in the Global Physical Security & Resilience (GPSR) program at EA works with our partners to provide for the safety and security of employees, assets, events, and guests through vigilance, prevention, and response.

The Director of Global Protective Services leads teams of professionals engaged in regional security functions to provide security oversight for facilities globally, executive protection, and support event security. In this role, you will drive the vision and shape the risk-based approach to physical security by having a strong understanding of physical security practices, program management, and strategic initiative development experience. You will lead the team of Regional Security Managers (RSMs), who represent EA's Physical Security program within their respective regions, and the Sr. Manager for Executive and Event Security. Your mission will be to grow the program globally, and establish a strategy to efficiently and effectively provide physical security services by leveraging full-time and contract personnel. You are a strong collaborator, comfortable leading, following, and influencing.

Key Accountabilities
• Drive the vision, development, and implementation of EA's physical security services to protect EA people and assets
• Set the strategy for physical security programs and lead teams responsible for facility and asset protection, executive protection, event security, site risk assessments, and security service management
• Set expectations for team members, provide mentorship and ensure accountability
• Build relationships with business leaders and internal and external industry and government partners, formulate strategic plans and objectives, utilize negotiation and influence skills, and improve cross-functional processes and programs to ensure the security program aligns with the company and its strategic direction
• Ensure compliance with company policies, and local, national, and international regulatory environments to ensure the integrity of work products and the privacy of employees and external parties
• Develop and manage budgets and staffing models to include regular full time employees and contracted services to apply a value-based approach to promote efficiency of operations while ensuring appropriate redundancy
• Drive the development of security policies, procedures, and reporting templates for the protective services program aligned with the needs of the business and GPSR strategic goals
• Lead the Executive Protection program strategic management, to include risk assessment, mitigation measures, and an understanding of compliance with IRS Code 132-5 requirements
• Ensure that the internal case management system is implemented consistently to ensure accurate investigative reporting and resource management
• Implement industry best practices and metrics defining operational performance
• Other strategic initiatives and projects as assigned
• Willingness to challenge status quo, innovate and introduce new ideas

Required Experience
• 10+ years related experience in security, law enforcement, or military in a similar role as a leader or individual contributor within a multi-national corporate security team or in a similar government role
• 7+ years of experience leading people to include performance management, hiring, training, mentoring, and developing performance plans
• 5+ years Interfacing and collaborating with senior executives, peers, and stakeholders to develop solutions and gain consensus
• Core physical security management and physical risk mitigation skills specific to a corporate environment, and criminal reporting procedures
• Advanced understanding of the application of physical security protocols, procedures, and technology in varied risk environments globally
• Advanced understanding and leadership of executive protection and event security teams, to include the development of policies and procedures, risk assessments and regulatory compliance
• Experience communicating with internal and external stakeholders, proactively messaging the team vision and strategy
• Bachelors or advanced degree(s) or combination of requisite experience and education
• ASIS International and ATAP memberships preferred
• CPP or similar certification preferred

Ability to travel 25% domestic and international and a flexible work schedule to support days, evenings, weekends, and holidays, as needed.
