The Tools and Technology Team within Creative Technologies is looking for accomplished people to help us fulfill our mission of providing creative tools and workflows that allow EA to lead the industry in content quality. Our group strives to build an ecosystem of modular components that are efficient, adjustable to trends, and allow for quick iteration of any artistic idea into reality. As Development Manager, you will oversee some aspects of project management within your team. You will gain experience in managing/delivering large projects and managing a team of high performers. You will have the opportunity to focus on TnT's Infinite Content Initiative with the support of an amazing team of Engineers and Technical Artists. DM Expectations
• Find and address team and project risks, focusing on removing blockers for the team and working with the project leads to communicate variances to important partners.
• Ensure the team is following established roadmap and sprint planning processes, course correcting where needed, and improving where there are opportunities to do so
• Run resource planning for the team, mapping capacity to demand as the project progresses.
• Contribute to process and culture improvements across the wider team.
• Manage a team and oversee individual career development
• Aid in the hiring process and conducting interviews
• Document user story details, working with the product, technical and design leads to ensure accurate stories are captured for the development team.
• Support the product discovery, documenting new features for implementation.
• Plan and scrub the product backlog, breaking down epics and estimating user stories with the development team.
• Lead scrum meetings, including sprint planning, standups, and retrospectives.
• Organise the team's daily work, working with the project, product, technical, and design leads to remove blockers from the team.
• Work with the project Development Director to manage the team's processes, planning and velocity.

You are/you have…
• 4+ years of project management and operations experience
• Experience managing small to medium projects from start to finish and improving project management workflows
• Experience surfacing, reporting, and acting upon metrics and analytics
• Leadership experience, including career management of individuals

Bonus if you have…
• Experience working with engineers, technical artists, or other technical developers
• Experience with project management tools such as JIRA, Asana

BC COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS

The base salary ranges listed below are for the defined geographic market pay zones in these locations. If you reside outside of these locations, a recruiter will advise on the base salary range and benefits for your specific location.

EA has listed the base salary ranges it in good faith expects to pay applicants for this role in the locations listed, as of the time of this posting. Salary offered will be determined based on numerous relevant business and candidate factors including, for example, education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, geographic location, and business or organizational needs.

BASE SALARY RANGES
• British Columbia (depending on location e.g. Vancouver vs. Victoria):

º $96,400 - $133,900 CAN Annually

Base salary is just one part of the overall compensation at EA. We also offer a package of benefits including vacation (3 weeks per year to start), 10 days per year of sick time, paid top-up to EI/QPIP benefits up to 100% of base salary when you welcome a new child (12 weeks for maternity, and 4 weeks for parental/adoption leave), extended health/dental/vision coverage, life insurance, disability insurance, retirement plan to regular full-time employees. Certain roles may also be eligible for bonus and equity.
