The Continuous Development Team

Continuous Development is one of the Product Areas within the Frostbite Engine. Continuous Development aims to improve the workflows for engineers who are developing and working with the Frostbite engine code, maintaining a fast, scalable and reliable CI infrastructure enabling a high productivity submission workflow.

Continuous Development is looking for a Development Manager or Program Manager with experience in live services and software projects. Reporting to the Senior Engineering Manager, you will help with the planning and execution for programs across multiple teams. You will be responsible for facilitating and empowering development teams to focus on live services and product development. This is an incredible opportunity to work with teams developing and maintaining many of the core technologies used to build, test and deliver the Frostbite engine.

We are looking for a candidate who can quickly familiarize themselves with multiple technologies, is a good communicator, and works well with others, but knows when to stand firm.

Responsibilities:
• Plan and execute on various programs across multiple teams.
• Build and maintain a complete project plan by partnering with teams, key stakeholders, and drive it through to completion.
• Develop, maintain and report on project KPIs that track quality, delivery and predictability.
• Proactively identify and mitigate risk for assigned scope.
• Build, motivate and help improve the team's velocity.
• Build processes that allow the team to produce high-quality work on time and on budget.
• Support project teams with standups, planning and estimation exercises, and retrospectives.
• Work with the Engineering Managers and Technical Leads to manage support issues and other interruptions to plan work efficiently for Scrum teams.

Skills and Experience
• 3+ years of project and program management experience in a high tech company
• Experience in various project management methodologies such as Agile and Waterfall
• Experience with distributed development across multiple locations
• Strong negotiation, mediation and conflict resolution skills
• Effective communication skills across all levels of an organization
• Experience with Atlassian Suite (Jira, JAAS)
• Bachelor's degree

BC COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS

The base salary ranges listed below are for the defined geographic market pay zones in these locations. If you reside outside of these locations, a recruiter will advise on the base salary range and benefits for your specific location.

Salary offered will be determined based on numerous relevant business and candidate factors including, for example, education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, geographic location, and business or organizational needs.

BASE SALARY RANGES
• British Columbia (depending on location e.g. Vancouver vs. Victoria):

º $96,400 - $133,900 CAN Annually

Base salary is just one part of the overall compensation at EA. We also offer a package of benefits including vacation (3 weeks per year to start), 10 days per year of sick time, paid top-up to EI/QPIP benefits up to 100% of base salary when you welcome a new child (12 weeks for maternity, and 4 weeks for parental/adoption leave), extended health/dental/vision coverage, life insurance, disability insurance, retirement plan to regular full-time employees. Certain roles may also be eligible for bonus and equity.
