Motive QA (Montreal) is looking for a Development Manager to help us lead an established, experienced team working on a AAA title in development.

We're looking for an experienced professional who is committed to developing their teams. Reporting to the QA Development Director, you'll work cross discipline with developers, partner teams and within QA to literally rewrite the book on how we test our games here at Motive.

You'll ensure EA accomplishes its commitment to putting Players First, by helping our teams provide their absolute best. If that's you then we want to hear from you!

Responsibilities:
• You will become part of a multi-discipline team of developers, leaders, analysts, and other experts on a mission to build the best possible games!
• You will manage the daily operations of team of experienced QA staff, with focus on the people
• You will help create a Quality Plan for the product
• You will assist the Product Owner in managing project Risks
• You will help build sustainable improvements to culture and practices to improve the work experience
• Project Manager with a passion for games and people-first mentality.
• 3+ years of applicable work experience working in an embedded, integrated product team in a leadership function
• Knowledge of QA practices (ISTQB, Lean, or Six Sigma)
• 2+ years' experience working in a live service development model (i.e. sprints, continuous development)

Preferred Skills:
• Formal Project Management Training (PMP, Agile Certified Practitioner, Prince 2 or equivalent)
• Equivalent knowledge or Bachelor's degree in a related field preferred (Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Project Management)
• Experience managing projects over $1 Million
• In-depth knowledge of AAA software/game development, including both Agile and Waterfall methodologies
