Creative & Development Technology shapes the future of interactive entertainment by harnessing data and technology to empower the creation of the next generation of games. We are a collection of six teams, Frostbite, Data & Analytics, Creative Technologies, Technology Growth Strategy, Creative Direction, and Operations.

Technology Operations is the hub that connects all teams across Technology to accelerate technology development and empower the organization to deliver the greatest quality experiences for EA's players. These world-class, diverse teams deliver insights, drive change management, and build tools, processes, and capabilities that support the strategy of the Technology organization.

We are looking for someone who loves the creative process and thrives on fresh ideas. If your strength is in nurturing relationships, coordinating projects, and delivering projects on schedule, we welcome you to consider our Development Director position. You would not manage people but rather about collaborating efforts across several parts of the organization. You will report directly to the Director of Strategic Operations.

In this role, your capacity to collaborate with different departments and connect with peers or partners in various business sectors will be important.

You will:
• Be a connective link, facilitating collaboration across a broad spectrum of project leaders, game development partners, and external partners.
• Prioritize, track tasks and manage projects, bringing simplicity and clarity to complex processes
• Develop strategies to improve project and operational efficiency
• Foster relationships with development game teams, legal, business development to accelerate project delivery
• Address challenges as a team, ensuring satisfaction and a supportive work environment
• Promote a culture of diversity and inclusion and maintain an environment that encourages creativity and collaboration
• Use data to simplify complex information, tailoring presentations to suit several levels within the organization.

We are looking for someone with :
• A passionate for managing creative teams
• Over 5 years of project management
• An understanding of the art and/or audio sectors, and familiarity with the creative process
• The ability to always keep a finger on the pulse of your projects, ready to share updates with any audience
• Experience in media production (TV, games or film) an asset

BC COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS

The base salary ranges listed below are for the defined geographic market pay zones in these locations. If you reside outside of these locations, a recruiter will advise on the base salary range and benefits for your specific location.

EA has listed the base salary ranges it in good faith expects to pay applicants for this role in the locations listed, as of the time of this posting. Salary offered will be determined based on numerous relevant business and candidate factors including, for example, education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, geographic location, and business or organizational needs.

BASE SALARY RANGES
• British Columbia (depending on location e.g. Vancouver vs. Victoria):

º $115,100 - $161,200 CAN Annually

Base salary is just one part of the overall compensation at EA. We also offer a package of benefits including vacation (3 weeks per year to start), 10 days per year of sick time, paid top-up to EI/QPIP benefits up to 100% of base salary when you welcome a new child (12 weeks for maternity, and 4 weeks for parental/adoption leave), extended health/dental/vision coverage, life insurance, disability insurance, retirement plan to regular full-time employees. Certain roles may also be eligible for bonus and equity.
