EA's EA.COM Quality Verification team is seeking an Associate Quality Designer to join our team. This role offers the chance to innovate and enhance quality practices specifically for the EA.com website and linked services. You will work under the guidance of the EA Quality Verification Development Director and collaborate with Quality Designers and other Associate Quality Designer on the team.

Responsibilities:
• Quality Strategy and Test Planning : Use testing skills and methodologies to test the product and share results systematically
• Create, build, and manage test plans
• Leverage testing skills and methodologies to test the product and share results systematically
• Research and propose solutions for increasing test coverage efficiency
• Quality and Data Analysis:
• Compile data from multiple sources into cohesive summaries to communicate status and risk
• Report high impact or complex bugs and provide applicable feedback to improve the quality of the web space for all users
• Collaboration and Communication:
• Communicate status and risk through cohesive summaries
• Serve as the communication bridge between development partners and QA teams
• Provide technical, quantitative, and qualitative feedback
• Represent the QA perspective effectively in meetings, ensuring quality standards are prioritized.
• Mentorship and Team Support:
• Lead improvements and knowledge sharing across teams
• Promote professional growth within the QA team
• Mentor and support team members in implementing quality strategies

Skills Required:
• Test Planning & execution, for feature and key beat release (both from web development and content teams) including various types of testing based on data driven approach and RBT for testing Front End Code, Backend code, Content Management Systems and Content.
• Comprehensive understanding of web development processes from concept to code release to use in content presentation.
• Strong understanding of automated testing in Web Software development & Content.
• Reporting & insight, with the ability to validate reports and KPIs/metrics at the product level using various tools.
• Problem solving & Risk Assessing, with the approach of finding permanent solutions and averting risks in the future
• Great Collaboration skills, Excellent verbal & written Communication.
Qualification:
• 2+ years of experience in software development, quality assurance, or web design
• Strong knowledge of Player Safety and Experiential quality assurance methods when considering UGC/UGX on web or games.
• Certification in Web Accessibility Standards (WCAG) and how to ensure compliance or equivalent experience with Accessibility.
• Familiarity with automated testing, common automation tool sets and telemetry
• Experience with defect and task tracking tools (e.g., JIRA, TestRail)
• Experience owning continuous improvement initiatives and executing from start to finish.
• Can create Test Strategies anchored in Defect prevention and early QA involvement
• Familiarity with Web Analytics services is preferred (such as Google Analytics)
