As part of the Commercial Intelligence team you will lead quantitative analysis of internal and external data sets and play an important role in the building of statistical and ML models that can be used in new data products. You will help identify opportunities that exist in our important markets, create a better understanding on what drives player and market behaviors, analyze data, and build trend detection tools/dashboards to help EA reach our future ambitions. You will report to the Head of Asia & Emerging Mobile Markets Commercial Intelligence.

Responsibilities:
• Use first and third-party data sets to identify important trends in Asia and Emerging markets
• Develop segmentation models to create customer personas to be used for our marketing and commercial activities
• Develop forecasting models to provide direction of expected behaviors and performance in the marketplace
• Perform thorough testing and validation of models to maintain accuracy of output
• Manipulate large datasets and use them to identify trends and reach meaningful conclusions to inform decisions
• Design and implement an ML pipeline that supports modeling activity
• Extract and transform raw data into clear reports and data visualization; Conduct quantitative analysis and ad hoc reports to support go to market decisions
• Compile and distribute reports, project status, and developments
• Build trend tools for game performance metrics that impact algorithmic discovery and identify market changes

Requirements:
• Tertiary Education in the field of Computer Science or Computer Engineering, or equivalent practical experience
• 4+ years or more experience in a data science role with experience using large and complex data
• Deep understanding and experience in building and deploying statistical and ML models in a variety of commercial environments.
• Strong proficiency across a variety of ML and statistical modelling techniques which are commonly used, and understanding of their trade-offs
• Strong aptitudes in data manipulation to create and interpret complex SQL queries (Oracle, Redshift, Big Query, Snowflake)
• You will have experience with programming languages like R/Python and a strong sense of best practices including the effective use of code repositories.
• Expertise with data visualization applications such as Tableau, R Shiny, Looker
• Experience with the suite of products across the Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
