The Biz Dev Entertainment Talent division needs an excellent partner who knows what it takes to engage talent, collaborate across groups, and provide A/P and HR compliance. This is a Part Time Role reporting to the Director of Business Development.

The Biz Dev Associate will become proactive with the internal and external partners on assigned franchises, assessing their talent engagement needs from the commencement of a project, with direction from the Director and Senior Manager, advising on the most efficient strategy for talent engagement. Biz Dev Associate will own the contracting process, from engagement outreach to putting the agreement in place and ensuring it is executed before services are rendered.

What a Biz Dev Associate does at EA in the Biz Dev Talent Group:
• Independently provide high-quality support and direction to internal Development and Marketing teams as well as external studio partners that require talent engagement within their projects.
• Independently provide direction and manage relationships with external vendors who are providing services for talent engagements.
• Assume full ownership and maintenance of day player performer engagements, including booking, scheduling, and contracting.
• In addition to supporting development teams, marketing teams, and external studio partners, must coordinate seamlessly with other external teams, including talent and talent representatives.
• Projects a knowledgeable and supportive image to all internal and external parties.
• Prioritize people and situations in need of attention and handle confidential information.
• With a complete understanding of appropriate casting and production processes, the Biz Dev Associate will be able to initiate casting and production shoots ensuring cast and crew engagements are executed against EA's standards and protocols are followed.
• Build budgets and track relevant expenses for accurate accounting reconciliations.
• Prepare shared documents in Google Suite and Microsoft Suite
• Provide monitoring and support on action items in progress.

Biz Dev Associate needs to be/have:
• Minimum 3 years of administrative and/or coordinator experience in an entertainment, production, or legal department.
• General working knowledge of the entertainment industry, union contracts, and agency relations.
• Professional when speaking with important parties including essential partners and executives.
• Complete work assignments with a high degree of quality.
• Assist multiple team members and projects at the same time.
• Go beyond the established framework; look for new ideas and creative solutions to overcome challenges.
• Passionate about the entertainment industry and displays a deep knowledge of interactive and general media entertainment.
• Ability to strategize with internal partners giving them direction and business guidance to engage talent following EA standards and help them meet their creative and brand goals.

Microsoft suite, Adobe, Google suite, and Airtable experience.

US COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS

Salary offered will be determined based on numerous relevant business and candidate factors including, for example, education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, geographic location, and business or organizational needs.

BASE SALARY RANGES
• California (depending on location e.g. Los Angeles vs. Sacramento):

º $82,500 - $122,900 USD Annually
• New York (depending on location e.g. Manhattan vs. Buffalo):

º $76,000 - $122,900 USD Annually
• Jersey City, NJ :

º $99,000 - $122,900 USD Annually
• Colorado (depending on location e.g. Denver vs. Colorado Springs):

º $91,600 - $122,200 USD Annually
• Washington (depending on location e.g. Seattle vs. Spokane):

º $76,000 - $109,200 USD Annually

Base salary is just one part of the overall compensation at EA. We also offer a package of benefits including paid time off (3 weeks per year to start), 80 hours per year of sick time, 16 paid company holidays per year, medical/dental/vision insurance, life insurance, disability insurance, and 401(k) to temporary full-time employees scheduled to work full time.
