Job Description
EA is looking for you to fill an Associate Quality Designer (AQD) role for the EASFC team. The AQD position will require you to provide oversight of our quality processes and establish best practices for our analyst family together with our leadership team. You will oversee the entire quality plan for EASFC QA and will report to the QA Development Manager and partner directly with the Producer and/or Designer to agree on the quality plan for new features.

Responsibilities:
• Build working relationships with members of the development, production and design teams.
• Promote a higher quality player experience through tasks such as feature planning, analyzing internal data/player data, and feature/design reviews.
• You will spend time testing the game, reporting bugs and providing feedback on features to improve the quality of the game for our players.
• End-to-end review of quality strategy, and test plans for your assigned area.
• Support identification of technical solutions and automation opportunities.
• Utilize data (both internal and external) to drive a data focused, predictable verification strategy.
• Drive improvements and knowledge sharing across the sports QA teams of current processes and workflows.
• Provide progress and status updates through reporting or verbal communication with appropriate managers, Quality Designers, and other team members.

Qualifications:
• 2+ years of applicable work experience.
• A passion for games, EAFC, or soccer, with a player first mentality.
• Experience making data-driven decisions regarding game design.
• Experience working in an embedded, integrated product team (i.e. Development + QA working as one).

BC COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS

The base salary ranges listed below are for the defined geographic market pay zones in these locations. If you reside outside of these locations, a recruiter will advise on the base salary range and benefits for your specific location.

EA has listed the base salary ranges it in good faith expects to pay applicants for this role in the locations listed, as of the time of this posting. Salary offered will be determined based on numerous relevant business and candidate factors including, for example, education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, geographic location, and business or organizational needs.

HOURLY PAY RANGES
• British Columbia (depending on location e.g. Vancouver vs. Victoria):
º $54,900 - $84,750 CAN Annually

Base salary is just one part of the overall compensation at EA. We also offer a package of benefits including vacation (3 weeks per year to start), 10 days per year of sick time, paid top-up to EI/QPIP benefits up to 100% of base salary when you welcome a new child (12 weeks for maternity, and 4 weeks for parental/adoption leave), extended health/dental/vision coverage, life insurance, disability insurance, retirement plan to regular full-time employees. Certain roles may also be eligible for bonus and equity.
