Job Description

The Frostbite Associate Quality Designer will work on the Frostbite Learn domain to collaborate with the quality and release team in delivering high quality content and tutorials on the Frostbite engine. You will report to the Development Director at Frostbite and be part of the team of industry experts who work with cutting edge technology to enhance the user experience.

Responsibilities
• Monitor test automation results, investigate failures to find the cause and triage findings
• Expose and notify development domains of issues causing test automation failures
• Provide Release Support including triaging incoming issues, documenting them, ensuring they have the necessary information to be actionable, reproducing the bugs and validating bug fixes
• Perform Manual test on Frostbite engine to verify content related to latest features and learning materials
• Work close with development and release domains for release stability
• Participate in software quality practices to deliver high quality content and documents
on frostbite releases
• Contribute in quality process improvements by identifying bottlenecks like gaps in our test coverage, areas of frequent breakages,...

Qualifications
• 2+ years of relevant experience in software or game development
• Nice to have experience with game engines (e.g. Unity, Unreal)
• Solid knowledge of software quality process and practices in both automation and manual test
• Familiarity with any source control, debuggers, and other software development tools (e.g. Perforce, Visual Studio).
• Ability to read and understand code

BC COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS

The base salary ranges listed below are for the defined geographic market pay zones in these locations. If you reside outside of these locations, a recruiter will advise on the base salary range and benefits for your specific location.

Salary offered will be determined based on numerous relevant business and candidate factors including, for example, education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, geographic location, and business or organizational needs.

HOURLY PAY RANGES
• British Columbia (depending on location e.g. Vancouver vs. Victoria):

º $63,400 - $86,500 CAN Annually

Base salary is just one part of the overall compensation at EA. We also offer a package of benefits including vacation (3 weeks per year to start), 10 days per year of sick time, paid top-up to EI/QPIP benefits up to 100% of base salary when you welcome a new child (12 weeks for maternity, and 4 weeks for parental/adoption leave), extended health/dental/vision coverage, life insurance, disability insurance, retirement plan to regular full-time employees. Certain roles may also be eligible for bonus and equity.
