Art Director - FIFA
We are looking for an Art Director or accomplished Associate Art Director to join our FIFA Match Experience team and help us achieve our goals of creating games that bring joy to our players. You will work specifically within our Presentation, Cinematics and Rendering sub-team and will report to the Senior Art Director.

As visual creatives, we love art and games and we are motivated to blend the two into rewarding interactive moments designed to put the player first. Our job is to provide visual clarity and direction in service of the game design and player experience.
Based on the experience, target audience, and trends, our art directors design a visual language that adds and supports the players' emotional and cognitive engagement in the game.
You love making video games, working with art, design, production and tech to achieve the game's presentation experience. You want our players to feel immersed in their experience and delighted by our visuals.
As an art/visual director, you will have 2-5years experience providing holistic visual direction or possibly building the visual experience of a specific domain within a large game. It is certainly advantageous to have worked on AAA games and understand the scope that requires. However, your philosophy, potential and your accomplishments are what we value most.
You can understand the player's journey, establish a narrative and then direct the required visual experience to delight our players. You love to inspire the team around a vision and get satisfaction working with them. You can set creative standards, using mood boards, paint-overs, briefs, visual targets and prototypes to communicate your ideas. You have a good eye for composition and lighting, experience of 3D and are familiar with contemporary console rendering techniques. Experience with cameras and motion graphics would also be beneficial.
You excel when working with developers of all disciplines, and appreciate the value of working inclusively, using clear goals to measure progress and success.
Our game is iterative and builds on the previous version so to be successful, an understanding of the inherent strengths and weaknesses of that development environment will be helpful.
