Senior Manager, Global Brand Partnership Sales (FTC)

This position requires someone to work from our Hammersmith offices 4 days a week.

National Geographic operates as a joint venture between Disney and the National Geographic Society and is committed to bringing the world premium science, adventure and exploration content across an unrivalled portfolio of media assets.

NGP combines the global National Geographic television channels (National Geographic Channel, Nat Geo WILD, Nat Geo MUNDO, Nat Geo PEOPLE) with National Geographic's media and consumer-oriented assets, including National Geographic magazines; National Geographic studios; related digital and social media platforms; books; maps; children's media; and ancillary activities that include travel, global experiences and events, archival sales, licensing and e-commerce businesses.

NGP Brand Partnerships division is a dynamic and comprehensive creative sales powerhouse with unrivalled brands that connect deeply with quality audiences everywhere. We are able to deliver integrated, a la carte, cross-media campaigns to clients in any industry segment across the most desirable genres and audiences, through our cross platform advertising sales arm. Our dedicated custom solutions team Nat Geo CreativeWorks work closely with clients to produce compelling branded content across our global portfolio of media platforms.

This is a maternity leave contract until October 2024. In this role you will be responsible for driving UK and pan regional brand partnership sales across UK and Europe for Nat Geo and the DAS media portfolio. This includes print, digital, social media and TV platforms. The role will include management of high profile media partners and collaboration across multiple lines of business

The Opportunity & Responsibilities
• Drive pan-regional sales revenue for National Geographic through advertising and custom content partnerships across our full portfolio of platforms: Digital, Social, Print and TV.
• Lead our work with existing partners – managing senior stakeholder relationships and represent the partnerships within TWDC at all stakeholder levels.
• Identify new business opportunities across client & territory portfolio to contribute towards FY24 budgets.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships, consulting on pitch – pay deal lifecycle with a particular focus on matching strategies to deliver against our partner's business objectives.
• Managing international agency portfolio to obtain RFPs and close business.
• Work closely with Partnership Sales teams across the regions on global accounts that have significant presence in UK & Europe.
• Collaborate with TWDC DAS, DCS and NG CreativeWorks teams to build sales opportunities & efficiencies, provide unique, innovative and creative ideas to win business and support the revenue goal objectives.
• Maintain an accurate and detailed pipeline and provide timely business forecasts.
• Evangelize the National Geographic brand and portfolio amongst the industry and at key events

The Experience We Require From You
• Experience working with both clients and agencies at a senior level
• Proven experience delivering revenue success and growth through pan-regional brand partnerships
• Excellent knowledge of multi-media platforms including print, digital & tv/video
• Ambitious self-starter who is driven to hit sales targets from existing and new clients
• Creative and strategic approach to winning business
• Business development capabilities
• Good PPT & XLS skills; ability to multi task & attention to detail critical
• Exceptional presentation, communication and negotiation skills
• Client and solution focused attitude
• Knowledge of production is a plus
