Job Description
Deadline, the authoritative source for breaking news in the entertainment industry, is adding a Senior Sales & Marketing Associate to staff in our London office. We are seeking an associate with a positive attitude, who prides themselves on being a team-player and is always willing to learn. The ideal candidate will have an immense attention to detail, excellent writing and communication skills and works well under pressure to meet deadlines. Strong MS Office skills, data entry skills, G-Suite, Salesforce and pleasant telephone and face to face demeanor are a requirement.

Primary Responsibilities
• Create sales & marketing sales collateral, presentations and assist with the creation of proposals & research ad hoc projects as needed
• Communicate with clients and agencies for post-sale follow-up of deliverables (including but not limited to tracking artwork)
• Generate insertion orders, work closely with the Digital Support team on digital campaigns and help process payments from advertisers
• Assist with routing of marketing/art materials to internal staff
• Partner with the International Sales team to manage and create a list of prospects to target and maintain strong client relationships
• Help schedule meetings and attend those meetings as needed in order to produce reports
• Work as a liaison between internal teams & Deadline's International Sales team and its clients
• Assist the International Sales; Features and Content team on specific projects
• Help the International Sales team manage their agendas, calendars and creating barter proposals
• From time to time assist with booking print and digital campaigns in Salesforce and PIO

Desired Skills/Background
• Minimum 5 years' experience in a similar role
• Experience in sales and/ or marketing in the entertainment industry is very desirable
• Excellent communications and interpersonal skills to be able to work with multiple departments, all levels of the business, and external individuals around the world
• Strong writing and editing skills
• Professional and articulate phone/ face to face manner. Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills-
• Must be comfortable with dealing with clients at the highest level and be proactive
• Ability to multi-task and handle multiple projects at a time within a fast-paced environment
• Ability to think creatively
• Excellent Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint skills Adaptable to change
• Fluency in one or two European language(s) other than English is desirable.

Typical wage range: £45,000 - £53,000
