Job Description
The Recruitment Coordinator is a central point of communication throughout the hiring and onboarding lifecycle. This role provides direct support to the Recruitment Team and is responsible for a wide range of duties in support of recruitment and onboarding efforts within Walt Disney Animation Studios. They are a proactive thinker, passionate about advancing our recruitment, interview, and onboarding experiences, and have a pulse on the Animation marketplace. This will be a 1 year contract role to start, at our Vancouver, BC studio.

Responsibilities:
• Facilitate effective and close communication between Recruitment and other departments within the studio. Distribute necessary information consistently and thoroughly, providing frequent updates and reminders.
• Responsible for interview scheduling, corresponding with candidates; confirming schedules with Production Management; Routing reels/resumes and portfolios accordingly
• Schedule and organize reel reviews, including preparation and collection of feedback
• Coordinate candidate relations through e-mail correspondence/phone calls and handling of candidates during on-site interviews
• Manage departmental administrative tasks, including offer letter generation as needed and new hire on boarding
• Provide additional support and coverage to Recruiters while they are traveling and attending off-site events
• Organize and facilitate team conference registration, travel arrangements and expense reports
• Maintain the organization of Walt Disney Animation Studios (WDAS) Applicant Management System, ensuring clean data and details
• Liaise between WDAS and The Walt Disney Company (TWDC) applicant tracking systems for a smooth candidate experience from recruitment through on boarding and orientation
• Partner across Recruitment teams and TWDC Studio partners to bridge talent pipelines between Vancouver, Burbank and COE hiring efforts
• Run and distribute recruiting reports for the purpose of department metrics
• Conduct ongoing research projects in support of strategic recruiting plans
• Maintain awareness of industry trends/news and present findings to team
• Assist Recruitment and Human Resources with off boarding and any Reverse Recruitment efforts

Requirements:
• 1+ years successful experience in a complex professional setting; administrative or recruitment support experience in creative and/or technical environments preferred
• Strong organizational skills and adept at functioning in dynamic environments; Able to identify and prioritize tasks, handle multiple ongoing projects, and be flexible to change.
• Proactive self-starter
• Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information with tact, diplomacy and discretion
• Ability to communicate effectively with all employees, including senior management, creative, and technical disciplines on one-to-one basis and in groups
• Ability to represent Walt Disney Animation Studios professionally to variety of external audiences
• Strong research and analytical skills
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Strong computer skills – Microsoft Office, Google Docs, Keynote, Powerpoint, Photoshop, Acrobat, and web search methods
• ATS System experience highly preferred
• SAP experience helpful
• Animation, VFX, Technology or Production experience a plus

Required Education
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
