Promotions Seasonal Assistant
Key Responsibilities:
• Assistant will be responsible for at least one of the following programs: Administration of the Detroit Tigers Kids Club, including marketing, sales, database input & management, fulfillment and analysis.
• Increase enrollment and revenue from 2022.Administration of the PAWS off-site and in-game appearance program, including marketing, sales, database input, talent management, fulfillment and analysis.
• Administration of the Personal Scoreboard Message Program, including database management, fulfillment, photo editing, customer follow up and analysis.
• Assist with the planning and execution of Chevy Youth Baseball Sunday Kids Days.
• Management of the Detroit Tigers energy squad, including scheduling, communication, uniform inventory, etc.
• Assist with the creation and activation of the Tigers Gen-Z focus group, including scheduling, meeting management and member communication.
• Assist with the Tigers Mobile Marketing Program, including event and staff scheduling, on-site activations, attending events, inventory management, etc.
• Assist in the production, tracking, distribution and inventory of in-park promotional item giveaways. Includes varying product development, budget management, sponsorship fulfillment, and day-of-game execution.
• Coordinate one (1) ''Theme Night'' in accordance with Detroit Tigers promotional plan. Includes budget management, interdepartmental & media partner planning, and day-of-game execution
• Assist in planning for day-of-game events, Including: Opening Day, National Anthems, Ceremonial First Pitches, Pre-Game Promotions and Special Events,Military activations, in-park Little League and local youth organization ceremonies
• Weekend Ballpark Concourse Programming / Entertainment Other scheduled special events, fan facing activations and our of park marketing events.
• Write and proofread pre-and in-game Public Address scripts
• Assist with in-game promotions and activities, including the following:
• Delivering prizes to lucky fans at winning seat locations
• Escorting the Tigers mascot PAWS throughout the game
• Operation of the Kids Club sign-up table
• Other miscellaneous in-game activities
Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
• The ideal candidate must be at least a college senior, recent graduate (within 6 months).
• The ideal candidate must have excellent verbal and written communication skills
• The ideal candidate must have excellent customer service skills
• The ideal candidate must have excellent organizational skills
• The ideal candidate must be available full-time
• The ideal candidate must be willing to work longs hours, including days, nights, weekends and holidays.
Preferred Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
• Experience, education, licensure(s), specialized certification(s).
Working Conditions:
Office Environment Evenings, weekend, and holiday hours will be required.
