Position Title
Team Lead, Scripting

Position Summary
This position is ideal for individuals who have a passion for training and developing people. It requires a highly motivated team player that prioritizes attention to detail and has a hunger to learn and solve problems. In this role, you will collaborate with Scripting management to ensure the capacity and quality requirements of the production team. You will learn the most important aspects of developing people, managing a small team, and being a subject matter expert. Ultimately, as a Team Lead, you will ensure that Deluxe delivers a consistent Scripting product that exceeds our clients' expectations. This position is in Burbank, CA or remote.
Outcomes and Accomplishments
Team Leads provide training and guidance to the Scripting editorial pool in their area of expertise. They do this through in-person training, documentation review, and feedback. The ideal candidate must be ready to:
• Initiate and supervise the end-to-end training of an Editor in their area of expertise
• Act as a subject matter expert to Scripting and other Deluxe teams
• Complete or assist with training and process documentation
• Work closely with direct reports to help them achieve their development goals
• Balance managerial duties and some editorial work

The ideal candidate will demonstrate a combination of skills and practical knowledge of the following:
• A familiarity with Scripting processes
• Comfort with product specs, complex formats, and evolving processes
• Comfort with developing rapport and encouraging growth
• MS Office Suite: Word, Excel, Outlook, and comfort with new software

In this role, the ideal candidate will learn the Scripting training workflow and subsequently own these tasks:
• Direct manager of an editorial team
• Training editors, vendors, or other departments on OTT Scripting tasks and processes
• Remedial training as products and processes evolve
• Execute or assist with the creation and update of OTT Scripting documentation
• Develop and maintain subject matter expertise specific to client deliverable requirements
• Update and communicate changes in OTT training schedules
• Editorial work as assigned

This role is based in Los Angeles, California and the base pay range for this role is $56,100 - $66,000 annually. Actual amounts will vary depending on education, skills, experience, and geographic location.
