Position Title
Junior Audio Assistant

Position Overview
Deluxe Media Audio is seeking a Junior Audio Assistant to undertake a variety of duties based in our Data Operations department. This position will work on a flexible day and night shift pattern. Shift hours will be 08:00-17:00 and 16:00-01:00. Weekend work may be required.

Primary Responsibilities
• Day to day running of the Data Operations department
• General file management duties
• Assist the Audio Operations Manager and Audio Services team on a daily basis and be aware of all materials needing to be delivered from the facility via various digital platforms
• Provide support to all the mix stages, and make sure that all audio materials are made available in a timely manner for the allocated work schedule
• Ingest all audio data onto our servers and systems throughout the facility
• Responsible for backup and maintenance of audio material and drives
• Archive appropriate audio material
• Make deliverables for all our major clients as requested, including DVD, Blu-Ray and Hard Disk Masters
• Ensure that all deliverables are complete & delivered on time
• Operation of various audio platforms for duplicating and editing purposes
• Full technical QC of material before it is dispatched to clients
• Conforming and ingest of audio material
• Follow and comply with client audio checks upon request
• Audio tracklaying, clean up and sync
• Liaise with clients
• Maintain and update client excel sheets/trackers
• Act as a runner for crew and clients

Preferable experience and skills include:
• A good understanding of Film Sound Technology – i.e. the post production process, Avid Pro-tools, various file formats, and the post production workflow
• Strong organisational skills with meticulous attention to detail
• Excellent communication skills, written and verbal
• Able to work under pressure and meet very tight client deadlines
• Capable of working in a team and being a very strong team player
• Available to work long hours and weekends to meet clients deadlines as requested. These hours could be at very short notice
• Willing to learn new technology and take on new responsibilities as and when needed
• Adaptable and dynamic approach to a fast paced environment
• Full UK driving license
