Account Coordinator

Job Summary
The Mastering coordinator will report to an Account Director to help schedule and track the creation of Domestic and International Feature DCP's through the Digital Cinema Process. Internally the Mastering Coordinator will be working directly with the mastering, data, and QC departments. The Account Coordinator will also have contact with outside Post Supervisors, Studio representatives, and Creative talent.  Day to day, a MC will work with an AD to schedule projects from the receipt of all source material (DCDM's, HDSR'S, QT etc.), through the creation of mastering work orders, and the tracking of work orders through the mastering, subtitling, and QC processes.  All candidates must understand the Digital Cinema Packaging workflow, as well as a basic knowledge of the DI workflow.  The Mastering Coordinator must be a good communicator, well organized, work well in a team environment, and have the ability to facilitate multiple projects in a fast-paced environment. They must be available as a contact after hours/weekends/holidays to resolve any urgent issues regarding their studio.

Key Responsibilities:
• Monitor high-volume email distribution lists for project management & client engagement
• Assist with email management to ensure you & the team respond in a timely manner
• Maintain a positive working relationship with all clients & vendors
• Pick up projects from the Mastering Team & effectively coordinate the delivery of DCPs by electronic or physical delivery
• Develop a mastery of Deluxe's proprietary distribution systems & reports
• Be accountable for the accuracy of all customers' bookings & shipments; at times, identify gaps and propose workflows to improve customer service
• Positively contribute to the Deluxe culture with strong interpersonal skills
• Clearly communicate project timelines & deliverable due dates
• Escalate any at risk timelines or projects to the Account Manager & Account Director
• Maintain an even disposition when navigating a lot of different priorities & projects
• Accept the occasional special projects and other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
The ideal candidate will possess the following knowledge, experience, and skill-set:
• Maintain a high level of confidentiality of Deluxe and customer/client sensitive information.
• Must be organized, reliable, conscientious, flexible, and skilled at multi-tasking, work effectively under pressure and possess strong organizational and interpersonal skills.
• Must have strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Some experience in client services, traditional post-production, cinema distribution, or entertainment industry background helpful.
• Must demonstrate positive attitude, able to handle self professionally in high stress situations.
• Must be able to juggle multiple priorities and solve problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
• Must possess strong decision making and problem-solving skills.
• Solid technical understanding of the distribution & cinema sales industry helpful.
• Must be able to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.
• Must be proficient with word processing, spreadsheet, inventory, internet, order processing, project management, and database software.

This role is based in California and the base pay range for this role is $23.80 to $26.44 per hour. Actual amounts will vary depending on education, skills, experience, and geographic location.
