Purpose

We are expanding our International Client and Agency Partnerships Team to enable our ambitious monetization plans for our expanded portfolio of products, and to cement existing, and build new lasting relationships with advertisers. The Account Manager will be a key member of the NBCU Ad Sales organization, and responsible for managing both pre-sale and post-sale materials for the Director and VP of Client and Agency Partnerships EMEA.

Role

The Account Manager will perform key functions to drive the success of the international advertising and partnerships sales organization across international markets.

The role will manage the pitching, planning, implementation, and analysis of multi-channel, multi geography TV, digital, social and events campaigns. The Account Manager will work in close collaboration with partners and clients in international territories, and internal business partners, from the Catalyst Agency, content studio, NBCUniversal International operations, legal, and finance departments.

This is a pivotal role in the International sales team, providing expertise in media across International markets, selling with creative flair to existing and new advertisers across a dedicated international portfolio. This role will work as a direct report and partner to an Account Director to devise and deliver successful campaigns for multiple advertisers, both with agency partners and clients direct.

The successful candidate will hold responsibility for nurturing relationships with a diverse existing customer set; pitching, and converting solutions based proposals built to maximize the monetization of NBCUniversal advertiser products and build deep and lasting performance driven partnerships, whilst also identifying new opportunities for business growth, generating new leads and campaigns of your own.

Key Responsibilities

Collaborate with an Account Director, and creative strategists, and data and insight internal partners to develop and sell multi-platform creative solutions
Seek out and proactively generate leads and opportunities to sell NBCUniversal advertising and partnership solutions

⦁ Partner with an Account Director to manage and build client relationships across a diverse customer set
⦁ Prepare proposals and creative solutions to a market leading standard in a highly competitive international media market-place
⦁ Prepare and deliver campaign performance reports in partnership with data and insight and operations teams to clients and agencies
⦁ Present reports of internally and externally to management and clients and support internal stakeholder and customer needs and demands
⦁ Track and optimize campaign performance ensuring customer satisfaction and partnership success in partnership with support staff
⦁ Network and nurture relationships with current and future potential customers and represent NBCUniversal in the market-place with professionalism
⦁ Negotiate and close ambitious international advertising agreements

Experience

⦁ Muti channel, TV, digital media planning and buying knowledge ideally across multiple international markets
⦁ Experience working with 1st party and 3rd party data to plan and deliver advertiser objectives
⦁ A passion for linking commercial success, consumer insight and media optimisation to decision making and pitching
⦁ An understanding of multi-media channels and overall media landscape (Digital, TV, outdoor, cinema and print)
⦁ Show understanding of and relationships with major media agencies and advertiser brands
⦁ Confidence in delivering and leading presentations at all levels, internally and externally
⦁ Strong strategic mindset with experience of strategic brainstorming, campaign development and understanding of business process
⦁ Proven ability to be adaptable in a quickly changing business and industry
⦁ Demonstrable sales success and negotiation skills
