Job Description
ViacomCBS is seeking a Human Resource Generalist to serve as a business partner to assigned client groups within the ViacomCBS Technology organization. This position reports to the Senior Director, Human Resources. This position is responsible for implementing HR solutions within the Technology organization that directly impact business issues and improve business performance.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Act as first point of contact for general HR-related employee and manager questions.
• Partner with department leaders to assist with job postings/approvals and onboarding new employees; provide employee support through employee lifecycle.
• Serve as the point of contact regarding employee accommodations and liaison as needed for leave management support.
• Responsible for offboarding and exit interviews of separating employees and share trends, and action plans.
• Prepare data reports ongoing or as-needed basis; includes employee demographics, org charts, turnover rate, diversity stats, survey data, and ad-hoc projects as requested.
• Collaborate as a key liaison with Compensation, Employee Relations, HRIS, and Recruiting, Benefits, and Legal partners to support strategic functions.
• Provide support on special projects, key HR activities, and business initiatives.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS:
• Bachelor's degree and at least 4+ years HR experience in a generalist capacity.
• Demonstrated knowledge of HR and employment concepts relating to ADA, FMLA, and other HR fields (e.g., benefits, labor relations, payroll)
• Excellent oral and written communication skills as well as interpersonal skills
• Proficient in MS Word, Excel, Power Point required.

ADDITIONAL QUALIFICATIONS
• Must be confident in handling ambiguity and fluid situations and be able to prioritize in an ever-changing environment.
• Solid organizational skills with the ability to meet project deadlines with a focus on details
• Capable of maintaining confidential information and matters with discretion
• Thrive in a fast-paced environment where agility is required
• Experience working with unions is beneficial
