The Global Operations Development team within Amazon Studios is seeking a program manager to drive the strategy and execution of our new hire experience to support our organizational growth. The Program Manager will own the development of an efficient, innovative, and scalable new hire experience for the global organization. They will become an expert across hiring and new employee programs. In partnership with other team members and partner organizations, the program manager will design and employ scalable programming, provide support to leaders and managers, and design, implement, and measure a world-class onboarding program.

You must raise the bar on written and verbal communication, derive insights and actions from data, and possess strong project management skills. You must have a diverse set of unblocking tools and mechanisms, resulting in an ability to cultivate relationships and earn trust with teams both inside and outside of their organization. You must be able to thrive in ambiguity, and in both start-up and more mature business environments. You must be able to operate strategically and be willing to roll up your sleeves to get the job done yourself.

Key job responsibilities
• Drive the design, development, and implementation of new the hire experience across the organization
• Own the day-to-day operations of the onboarding program, partnering with managers, HR, recruiting, and other teams, to ensure program success
• Lead quality assurance and audit processes of new and existing content
• Define, collect, analyze, and present data to support project goals and initiatives
• Convey ideas and recommendations in a clear, compelling and succinct way in written and verbal communications
• Actively seek out internal customer requirements and feedback
• Define and manage KPIs to evaluate effectiveness and propose adjustments to the programs to improve performance and ensure objectives are met
• Must have a global mindset and have the ability to think at-scale

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
• 3+ years experience in program or project management
• Experience using data and metrics to drive improvements
• Experience working cross functionally with tech and non-tech teams
• 5+ years of experience in communications or program / project management
• Experience using data and metrics to drive improvements
• Experience owning program strategy, end to end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership
• Highly organized and detail-oriented to deliver results
• Strong bias to action and able to operate autonomously in a high level of ambiguity
• Strong written and verbal communication skills

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
• Ownership of building programs from the ground-up, including developing goals and strategies
• Experience owning onboarding or employee initiatives in a high-growth organization
• Meets/exceeds Amazon's leadership principles requirements for this role
• Meets/exceeds Amazon's functional/technical depth and complexity for this role
