JOB DESCRIPTION
We are looking for a talented Producer to join the Fox Nation long-form team. Fox Nation produces exclusive streaming documentaries, specials and investigative, historic and uplifting programming available only to subscribers. Fox Nation also includes access to exclusive live events and 20 plus years of archival FNC programming not available anywhere else.

As the Producer, you will have the opportunity to work on all aspects of production from concept to completion and with small teams of Associate Producers and Production Assistants to complete multiple documentary-style projects at one time. You may also assist with other productions such as on-location town hall and live event programming and specials.

We are looking for someone who can determine, plan, and manage their own day-to-day activities as well as long-term priorities regarding all aspects of the production and someone who is able to start with a concept pitch and see it through to completed project, including writing the script and overseeing post-production and taking directions from Senior Producers who oversee each project.

A SNAPSHOT OF YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
• Research stories, write scripts, coordinate field shoots, find archival video, manage rights and clearances
• Create a production budget and ensure that the project stays within budgetary guidelines
• Oversee small teams of varying sizes working on multiple long-form productions
• Coordinate with other departments throughout Fox such as legal, finance, graphics, marketing, field production, media relations
• Produce long-form projects ranging in length from 10 minutes to multiple hours
• Pitch story ideas
• Book guests and conduct both on and off-camera interviews
• Collaborate with staff and freelance field crews to shoot interviews and additional footage
• Work with editors to turn the raw footage into a completed, polished program

WHAT YOU WILL NEED
• Proven long-form writing and storytelling skills (provide work samples)
• Ability to work with others under strict pressure to meet imposed deadlines
• 6+ years' of experience writing and producing long-from content at a news organization, production company or documentary film company
• Strong knowledge of current events as well as historical events
• Willingness to rewrite and revise work according to notes from senior producer
• Ability to think creatively and develop new and interesting approaches to storytelling
• Bachelors degree preferred
