Responsibilities
The Producer Development program is a fast-track opportunity for people with the goal to learn bilingual news-gathering and production skills required to be a successful digital news producer. Participants in the program will work on the digital team in a fast-paced newsroom within Telemundo Chicago (WSNS) and NBC Chicago (WMAQ). The candidate must be an exceptional bilingual writer with experience writing AP style news stories in English and print-style news stories in Spanish following a style guide. You must have experience writing in both languages in a professional news environment, such as newspaper or wire service. The Associate is assigned a mentor who is an experienced staff member. The Associate also will attend a program filled with workshops, lunches with guest speakers and training.

• Outstanding bilingual writing skills in Spanish and English
• Bachelor's degree
• 6 months to a year of journalism experience
