Join us! We are looking for a Director to lead the Motive Analytics team. You will be based in the Motive studio located in Montreal and will work with the studio teams, Publishing, Product Marketing, development, finance, and ops, and analytics teams globally. This is a leadership role on the team which means you are responsible for driving influence in the studio, and centrally across Studio Analytics, and able to develop a team of analysts on projects across many franchises and business models.

You will report to the Sr Director of Analytics.

WHAT YOU'LL DO:

Create a clear vision for the analytics team to inspire your team and excite your partners
• Support key stakeholders in Motive studios, global publishing, and marketing with quality insights to make key product strategy decisions
• Improve the quality of actionable insights across the team
• Find new opportunities in data to change the player experience and improve the product
• Develop plans and objectives for the team that align with Studio Analytics and studio goals
• Collaborate within the studio analytics team and with the player date expert group, including Data Science, Marketing Analytics, Consumer Insights, and User Experience Research to build a holistic player perspective to the products you support
• Lead digital strategy discussions with studio and marketing to optimize the opportunity based on the objectives between studio, marketing, and publishing
• Partner with BI and reporting teams to develop requirements for dashboards and reports for live service teams and reports for execs

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR:
• 10+ years of relevant experience from these industries: gaming, banking, consulting, telecom, or retail
• 8+ years of experience leading a multi-function analytics team across multiple products working with product managers
• Experience managing a team with multiple locations is a plus
• Ability to coach analytics talent to develop your skillset
• Experience with SQL: including extensive experience querying complex data sets
• Familiarity with a data visualization software package, e.g., Tableau
• Familiarity with a statistical software package, preferably R
• Good knowledge of Excel including macros, pivot tables, vlookups, charts and graphs
• Proven ability to work in a changing deadlines and priorities on multiple simultaneous projects
• B.A. or B.S. in Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, Computer Science, and Engineering Sciences – Master's Degree a plus
