Job Description

Method Studios Vancouver are an award winning VFX Studio looking for a coordinator to join their Artist Management team. This role is a mixture of HR and VFX Production. If you are self-motivated, proactive and willing to learn this is the perfect opportunity for you.

In this role, you will:
• Work closely with artist managers to identify project needs;
• Update Resource Calendar where needed;
• Coordinate vacation management for whole studio;
• Onboard all new recruits (studio tour, prep of machine);
• Request and collect feedback from Leads/Supervisors about artists for reviews;
• Facilitate exit interviews;
• Send artists studio communications/reminders;
• Support the collection of show post mortems;
• Organize meetings, events, lunches, training sessions, performance reviews;
• Notify HR of crew contract extensions;
• Collectively working with HR on an ad hoc basis;
• Take notes in scheduled department meetings;
• Support HoAM to streamline department processes;
• Ad hoc administration.

• The ability to be proactive, confident, and to perform under pressure;
• Strong administrative skills;
• Ability to work in a team environment and collaborate with others;
• Proven ability to be flexible and self motivated.
