Position

We are currently looking for a temporary Video QC Specialists to work out of our very busy El Segundo, CA office.

The Video QC Specialist is responsible for audio and video quality control of SD/HD/UHD/4K video masters and sub-masters as well as prequalification of incoming sources for EST, VOD, and physical distribution. The position requires high attention to detail, well-developed organizational skills, and excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Responsible for Video and Audio quality control of media masters and sub-masters as well as prequalification of incoming sources. Checks will include: full pass or spot A/V, file integrity, logging film and digital anomalies, audio sync, caption sync, etc.

Responsible for analysing and logging video specifications of masters and confirming that they conform to the project output requirements.

Collaborate and maintain a positive and effective line of communication with fellow QC Operators as well as the QC Manager, Video QC Leads, Project Coordinators, and the Post-Production Department.

Maintain required documentation throughout QC process and update project tracking software correctly.

Continually learn new and modified specifications/rules as provided by clients.

Requirements

Education and/or Experience

Bachelor's degree or equivalent; or 2+ years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
