Position

ABOUT THE ROLE

Location: Seoul, office-based

We are currently looking for a Project Manager for our busy Subtitling department in Seoul, Korea. The Subtitling team work with major high-end clients including Disney, Netflix, and HBO, on numerous ongoing projects within agreed time frames and funding parameters.

The Project Manager in Subtitling plans, creates, and manages activities of subtitling projects to ensure that goals or objectives of the project are accomplished. As Project Manager, you will liaise with external clients and internal ZOO departments to resolve any queries, provide project updates, and ensure deadlines are met.

Duties and responsibilities include;
• Reviewing project proposals to determine time frames, funding limitations, procedures for accomplishing the project and the allotment of available resources to various phases of the project
• Preparing project reports for management, clients, or others.
• Preparing projects for billing.
• Conferring with project personnel to provide technical advice and to resolve problems.

Requirements

WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

We are looking for bright and passionate individuals with excellent communication skills and a keen eye for detail. The Project Manager in Subtitling must have previous experience as a Project Manager, as well as experience within the entertainment or studio environment, ideally working on localisation projects.

We would love to hear from applicants who have previously worked as a Subtitle or English Editor.

Computer literacy is essential for this role, and all applicants should have a strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office packages, as well as Firefox and Chrome.
