Position

We are currently looking for a temporary Assistant Audio Engineer to assist in our very busy Media Services department.

The Assistant Audio Engineer is responsible for Music & Effects dubbing package prequalification, generating prequalification reports, technical quality control of cloud dubbing sessions, ProTools dubbing package and mix session preparation and conformance.

The Assistant Audio Engineer will also perform loudness conformance and bounce deliverable outputs for audio mixes, assist the dubbing team with asset research in relation to audio quality and content, and assist the Audio Video QC team with final deliverable QC.

This position will work closely with the Post Production, Quality Control, and Dubbing teams to ensure high quality efficient dubbing.

This role will require continual learning of new and modified specifications from title to title and client to client.

Requirements

Education and/or Experience

Bachelor's degree or equivalent; or 2+ years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Language Skills

Must be an excellent verbal and written communicator in English. Other languages a plus.

Computer Skills

Mac and Windows OS

ProTools

Adobe Audition

QuickTime Pro

Video NLE's a plus (Adobe Premiere, Final Cut Pro)

Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word)

Salary range: $20-$22/hour
