Job Description
As a Business Development Manager on the Entertainment Partnerships team at YouTube, you'll have a unique opportunity to create long-lasting relationships with your portfolio of partners, collaborating on performance optimization and achieving shared business goals. Internally, you will represent our partners in cross-functional product, operations, and business discussions, and bring a distinct perspective to significant business decisions due to your expertise on industry trends, partner relationships, and agreement dynamics. You will be inquisitive, creative thinkers, able to navigate ambiguity, and understand channels and Direct-to-Consumer distribution models for subscription-supported video-on-demand services (SVOD).

Resonsibilities:
• - Build executive-level relationships within TV and film companies.
• Track partner and business line performance to growth goal metrics.
• Manage ongoing partner management post-agreement close stage including business reviews and processing agreement amendments.
• Represent our partners to product leadership and inform product plans.
• Partner with global, cross-functional YouTube, and Google teams on strategic initiatives across top entertainment partners (e.g., domestic/international strategy, agreement execution, performance tracking, launches, etc.).

Qualifications:

Minimum qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
• 5 years of experience in partner management within the tv/film industry.
• 3 years of experience working with SVOD and Direct-to-Consumer business models.

Preferred qualifications:
• Experience working alongside product, finance, and global partnerships teams.
• Experience in international content licensing and distribution models.
• Experience in project management in a fast-paced, self-starting environment.
• Exceptional analytical and critical thinking skills as they relate to contractual, technical, and financial matters and comfort with analytics, modeling, and presentations.
• Excellent problem solving and analytical skills, and impeccable business judgment.
• Excellent presentation skills (e.g., narrative building, influencing with data, executive presence).
