Job Summary/Description:

Technical media producers (TMP) are a mix of master control operators (MCO), technical directors (TD), and news editors. Regular responsibilities include coding newscasts and cut-ins, directing newscasts and cut-ins, maintaining studio equipment, fulfilling graphic requests, live shot coordinating, writing discrepancy reports, ingesting programming, segmenting programming, monitoring on-air signal, maintaining logs, editing for newscasts and performing other duties as assigned. In addition to the attention to detail required by an MCO, this position also requires a close working relationship with news producers to create and execute dynamic, fast-paced newscasts. This position requires a positive team player with a passion for broadcast media.

Qualifications/Requirements:
• ️ Basic computer skills, and troubleshooting
• ️ Ability to prioritize complex tasks and manage time effectively
• ️ Strong communication and organizational skills
• ️ Willingness to learn new hardware and software
• ️ Ability to meet hard deadlines and make split-second decisions
• ️ Experience with Ross Overdrive, VizRT, and ENPS preferred
• ️ Experience with Photoshop & Premiere Pro and Edius is a plus
• ️ Master Control automation experience preferred
• ️ Flexibility with assigned scheduling and job assignments
• ️ Available to work early mornings, nights, weekends, and holidays as scheduled
• ️ Reliable transportation
