Job Summary/Description:

WSMV, a Gray Television station, is recruiting for a Morning Producer. The Morning Producer at WSMV creates, coordinates, writes and executes a competitive newscasts. They display creativity, aggressiveness, attention to detail, resourcefulness and team spirit in the pursuit of excellent newscasts and content for online and social platforms. In addition, the Producer:
• Coordinates efforts of Anchors, Reporters, Editors and other staff toward crafting a compelling newscast.
• Develops day-to-day on-air look of the newscast to attract the largest available audience to the station's profitable newscasts.
• Contributes to station's web and multi-media efforts
