Job Summary/Description:
WKYT, home to Lexington's highest-rated newscasts, is looking for a Full-Time Videographer/Editor.
We are looking for someone who is a driven storyteller and knows photography is more than wide, medium, and tight shots. When it comes to a microphone, you use it as a tool for gathering sound and taking people to a place in time rather than just an object for sound bites.
As a News Editor, we're looking for someone who can take a script and make it sing with natural sound, tremendous visuals you've gathered in the field, or pulled from our visual journalists.
We've got all the tools you will need to s/ucceed. From next generation cameras and laptop editors to a staff of talented Photographers, MMJs, Reporters, and Producers that all share a desire to tell great stories and be the best.

Qualifications/Requirements:
Job Duties include creative shooting and editing, being a self-starter, not being afraid to ask questions, having a can-do attitude, and being deadline-driven.
