Job Summary/Description:

Connecticut's #1 news station has a unique opportunity for an MMJ/Producer! This hybrid position is the perfect chance to hone both your reporting and producing skills. You'll spend half the week out in the field, reporting and turning on-air packages -- and the other half producing newscasts. If you're in a smaller market, looking to something bigger, this is a great way to get your foot in the door, on air, in Market #32.

Qualifications/Requirements:

Education: Bachelor's degree in Broadcast Journalism or related field, or equivalent training and/or experience.

Experience: Television reporter/photojournalist/producer experience.

Specific Knowledge, Skills and Abilities -
- Must be willing to work a flexible work schedule including holidays and weekend.
- Ability to work in a team-oriented environment.
- Effective and professional verbal and written communication skills.
- Script writing and editorial experience is preferred.
- Ability to work respectfully and effectively in a creative, fast-paced environment.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Must be able to multi-task and manage multiple projects and assignments simultaneously.
- A full appreciation for the media industry, its demands and sudden changes.
- % Travel Required (Approximate):10%.
