News Production Assistant (PT)

WEAR / WFGX has an exciting opportunity for a temporary Production Assistant for live broadcasts!

WEAR / WFGX is hiring temporary Production Assistants for live broadcasts of the 2020-2021 high school football season. This opportunity is exciting and fast paced. We are looking for someone with a strong work ethic and a great attitude. The ideal candidate will be someone who is willing to jump in and get the job done. You must have transportation to various high schools located throughout Northwest Florida.

Responsibilities include:
• Monitoring and handling camera operations
• Working with audio and graphic elements
• Stats and utility

Education/Experience:
• Education and/or an internship in television is preferred
• Knowledge of live broadcast sports production is a plus
• Training will be provided
