Job Description

WB Games Montréal, a division of Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment (WBIE), seeks a Helpdesk Systems Administrator.

In this position you will be responsible for 3rd line support to the WB Games QA, Localization and Customer Service departments, ensuring the proper functioning of all essential systems so that the teams are able to work efficiently and uninterrupted, and acting as a mentor and leader in any technology-related initiatives.

Reporting to the Helpdesk Manager, you will be expected to be highly self-motivated with an in-depth understanding of Microsoft ecosystem administration, networking protocols, LAN/WAN architecture, security best practices and server infrastructure builds.

Responsibilities
• Be the primary owner of administration of all QA, Localization and Customer Service systems and toolsets; Jira (and associated plugins), TestRail, Aspera, Confluence, LocDirect, MemoQ, Zendesk, Insight, eazyBI, Slack, File Shares, etc.
• Design, build, code and maintain Boom Tube (build automation system) to ensure the most efficient automated processing of incoming builds for all our projects while being mindful of security issues related to proper distribution and watermarking.
• Provide a high quality 3rd line support service, by keeping within the standards and service levels required by our teams and partners. Proactively identify problem areas, develop, maintain and facilitate best practices, processes, and methodologies to ensure high productivity and alignment with corporate strategy and goals. Contribute to the ongoing effort to refine and maintain processes, policies and procedures related to the QA, Localization and Customer Service Helpdesk team within WB Games.
• Work closely within the QA, Localization and Customer Service departments to implement and support new technologies.
• Coordinate with development, production and other partner teams for any issues related to their hardware, mastering builds, storage, or tool administration needs.
• Maintain and administer the current QA network infrastructure.
• Provide and maintain updated documentation for all systems supported.

Experience
• 5+ years of relevant IT experience.
• 2+ years of work experience in the video games industry, a plus.

Education
• Higher education diploma in IT or Computer Science or other any relevant field.

Knowledge/Skills
• Microsoft ecosystem administration (Active Directory).
• Systems administration and configuration (Jira, Confluence, TestRail, MemoQ, Zendesk).
• Windows installation, administration and troubleshooting.
• Transfer tools (Aspera, MASV, FTP).
• Strong troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to adopt changes quickly and learn new technolog
