Your New Role…

The WB Games Technology Services group is looking for an experienced Application Engineer to join our global Shared Services team.

As a part of Shared Services, you will be responsible for implementing or supporting version control software for some of the best game development studios in the industry!

You will work on the design, implementation, and support of reliable, scalable, secure, and version control applications. This is a highly technology-focused business where performance, flexibility, and security are paramount. Our game development teams will depend on you to provide fast and stable support to help them maintain their productivity, making you a critical part of the game development process!

• Chicago, IL
• Troy, NY

Your Role Accountabilities…
• Administer, architect, configure, operate, deploy and maintain Perforce version control applications (On premise and cloud)
• Collaborate with studio technical SMEs and IT leadership to assist in identifying requirements, recommending, and engineering solutions
• Ensure all Perforce applications and services are secure and highly available
• Ongoing backups, monitoring, reporting and lifecycle management for of version control application
• Resolve incidents across multiple studios and geographical locations
• Work to improve our processes and the operational efficiency of our version control applications. We are always learning!
• Provide 24x7 on-call support as a part of an on-call rotation

Qualifications & Experience…
• Demonstrable experience with version control server design, implementation, and support business requirements through to day-to-day management
• Proficiency in managing version control applications
• Experience with Windows Server and Linux operating systems
• Experience with configuration and management of complex environments running on Cloud platforms, such as AWS or Azure
• Excellent written, oral, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Highly self-motivated, self-directed, and able to effectively prioritize

Preferred
• Experience with:
• GitHub (On premise and cloud)
• Bitbucket (On premise and cloud)
• Migrations between on premise and cloud VCS applications
• Experience working in Games or other creative industries
• A love of games!
