We are looking for an experienced engineering leader to drive operations and incident management for Walt Disney Studio Technology. You will drive strategic direction for your team, working with our engineering and business partners. You will anticipate needs, foster nimbleness, and build a world-class team. Whether it's a new network infrastructure to support the latest release from Disney, Marvel, Twentieth Century, or Searchlight this team is on the front lines for the entire scope of production in Burbank and around the world.

The Manager of Network Engineering Operations will be responsible for leading a team of network engineers in the implementation and maintenance of the network infrastructure at Walt Disney Studios. This role will work closely with other teams and departments to ensure the network is reliable, secure, and meets the needs of the business.

Key Responsibilities:
• Lead a team of network engineers in the design, implementation, and maintenance of the network infrastructure.
• Develop and implement network policies, procedures, and standards.
• Collaborate with other teams and departments to ensure the network meets the needs of the business.
• Monitor network performance and troubleshoot issues as needed.
• Manage vendor relationships and contracts related to network services and equipment.
• Stay up to date with industry trends and emerging technologies.
• Provide training and mentorship to team members to support their professional development.
• Balance immediate needs versus long-term goals across a diverse collection of stakeholders.

Requirements:
• 7+ years of experience in network engineering and operations.
• 3+ years of experience leading an information technology or engineering team.
• 3+ years of experience in a large enterprise networking environment with DC/Campus/WAN infrastructure
• Strong leadership and management skills.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• In-depth knowledge of network protocols, technologies, and standards.

Nice to Have:
• Knowledge of advanced Overlay networks such as VxLAN and MPLS.
• Experience with Juniper and Palo Alto network stacks.
• Experience with network security and compliance.
• Knowledge of media and entertainment industry workflows and technologies.
• Bachelor's degree in computer engineering, electrical engineering, a related field or equivalent experience.

The hiring range for this position in California is $149,300.00-$200,200.00 per year based on a 40 hour work week. The amount of hours scheduled per week may vary based on business needs. The base pay actually offered will take into account internal equity and also may vary depending on the candidate's geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors. A bonus and/or long-term incentive units may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to the full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the level and position offered.
