The Job

The Manager, Technical Trailer Finishing is responsible for assisting the VP of Technical Post Production in the finishing of all assigned Theatrical Trailers. This role will manage all trailer finishing schedules and supports the VP in the physical creation of the final finished product.

The Daily
• Trained and supervised by VP, Tech Finishing, and serves as project manager on assigned trailers or trailer cut downs
• Manages day-to-day support for creative directors in identifying, ordering, and delivery of materials to outside vendors
• Maintain and organize shot lists for tracking visual effects throughout the entire campaign
• Provides technical support between cutting rooms and outside vendors regarding source elements such as negative, split audio, and music score on TV campaign finishing
• Facilitates and coordinates lot security requirements in the duplication of creative marketing materials
• Book and schedule ''holds'' at in-house and outside picture and sound facilities
• Coordinates and confirms approved legal credits and reviews used in Theatrical trailers
• Track, check motion graphics and present checkers to the credits team
• Keep close communication with Tech Ops in anticipation of dubbing and localization
• Assist in quality control of theatrical and digital deliverables

The Essentials
• Knowledge of organizing and preparing LUTs and assets for theatrical color grading
• Experience setting up workflows for Colorists and Color Scientists
• Expert knowledge of Lustre, Baselight, and Resolve color correction hardware and software

The Nice to Haves
• BA/BS degree in film making, production, or marketing preferred
• Training or focus on Editorial is also preferred
