The Daily

The Executive Administrative Assistant is the primary point of contact for advanced, diversified, and confidential administrative support to several News & Sports Finance VP's and their teams. The position must also be very knowledgeable of company policy, processes, and procedures in order to efficiently and thoroughly meet executive's needs. The position interacts frequently with the highest level of WBD & News & Sports management, as well as high-profile external contacts. The position must frequently liaise with Accounting, Finance, Human Resources, Travel, and primary clients, acting as a 360-degree business resource. Position may be required to work after hours and on weekends. May serve as backup business administrative support for a client group.

Duties include but not limited to:
• Coordinate meetings, make travel arrangements, arrange conference calls, prepare expense reports
• Gather or research information, prepare presentations, type correspondence, answer and screen phone calls,
• Respond to inquiries, and other duties/special projects as assigned.
• Manage executives' calendar. This includes interfacing with executive offices not only within the organization, but with external organizations as well.
• May be responsible for monitoring budget by tracking expenditures against amounts already established.
• We are looking for someone who is energetic, positive, trustworthy, hard-working and someone who will ensure the confidentiality of their client's information.
• This is an exciting opportunity for someone who brings solid administrative experience, and will have with the backing of a supportive, collaborative team.

The Essentials
• BA preferred or equivalent experience.
• 3-5 years of strong senior/executive level or on-air talent support experience.
• Proficient computer skills (Microsoft Office Suite) a must.
• Experience broadcast or media industry preferred.
• Ability to quickly learn and adapt to computer systems and change.
• This position represents the Executive and interacts with department employees, senior management, other Bureaus, and external clients.
• This position requires a high level of diplomacy, discretion, and confidentiality.
• Excellent communication (both verbal and written) skills are required.
• Must be extremely organized, know how to prioritize and have an eye for detail.
• Must thrive in a fast-paced environment, ability to work independently in a high stress environment and able to manage many projects/tasks at once with ease and poise.
• Must be willing to be on-call on a 24x7 basis, reachable by phone.
• Must have a strong commitment to teamwork and collaboration.
• Must possess superb integrity and professionalism.
• Must act proactively to meet clients' needs. Must possess excellent customer service skills.
• Must work well with minimal supervision.
• Must have a positive attitude.
